UF2367 Course Coordination, command and control of interventions in forest fires and contingencies in the natural and rural environment

In the field of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields within the coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, within the professional area of security and prevention. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the coordination, command and control of interventions in forest fires and contingencies in the natural and rural environment.

- Coordinate and supervise the activation of the resources and means of intervention of forest fire fighting and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, valuing the times of arrival and access routes, and the optimization needs of the effectiveness of the medium and resources nearby. - Direct the actions of displaced operations to the place of forest fire or contingency in the natural and rural environment, determining the areas of action and intervention procedures according to the emergency characteristics, supervising the actions and safety of the interveners and coordinating with other possible services that are operating in the area. - Direct and execute the necessary tasks that guarantee the gradual incorporation of equipment and means to the operation, the control relays, as well as the tasks of auction and completion of the forest fire or contingencies in the natural and rural environment.

It develops its professional activity in forest fire extinction services as a worker dependent on public administrations, as well as in public and private companies dedicated to agroforestry and environmental work, at the head of an intervention unit and in collaboration with other intervention units and/or operational civil protection groups, under the supervision of a responsible superior. Collaborates in the prevention of risk of its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2367 Coordination, command and control of interventions in forest fires and contingencies in the natural and rural environment, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, by which it will opt for the corresponding certificate of the corresponding certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, more specifically those linked to the coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the coordination, command and control of interventions in forest fires and contingencies in the natural and rural environment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
