Summary

Today, the new technologies applied to education (NIC) are a basic element to provide students with a teaching-learning process adapted to the reality of the society that surrounds us. New technologies have to be integrated into the curriculum from all areas of education, within an open and flexible educational center. That is why with the course in new technologies applied to education and in ICT tools in pedagogical strategies, students will be provided with the knowledge necessary to carry out the integration and incorporation of new technologies and to design and elaborate activities with the use of ICT.

- Describe and contextualize different concepts related to new technologies applied to education. - Know the basic knowledge about audiovisual literacy and its main elements: video and television. - Identify the main objectives of computer science and its use in educational contexts. - Analyze the didactic applications of computer programs and educational software. - Acquire knowledge about the interactive multimedia systems that can be used in the educational center. - Know the main characteristics of ICT and their importance in the educational field. - Describe the protocol to follow for the design of courses or training programs with ICT. - Learn the importance of responsible use of ICT.
