Summary
DNA fragmentation in sperm can occur due to various causes, such as alcohol exposure, drugs, tobacco, presence of varicocele, etc. In those cases in which there are infertility phenomena of unknown causes, it is convenient to perform a fragmentation test of the spermatic DNA to determine if this is the reason. The course in the fragmentation of spermatic DNA gives you an overview of the main techniques of molecular biology used to determine this effect, as well as the cases in which this type of tests must be performed.
