In the psychosocial field of minors it is necessary to know the situations of social difficulty of the minors or the risks of exclusion that they face in unstructured family environments, which makes these minors in vulnerable subjects. Thus, with this postgraduate degree in promotion of coexistence and mediation in the educational field, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge about socio -educational care, attention to diversity and mediation in educational centers.

- Know and identify special educational needs based on students' characteristics. - Acquire knowledge about the main preventive measures and programs related to attention to diversity. - Know the different technical and methodological resources used in the application of prevention and intervention programs. - Make an approach to the reality of cultural diversity. - Describe the key concepts involved in mediation processes. - Present reality the conflict and its resolution in the school environment for cultural reasons. - Describe the reality of intercultural mediation in the school environment and its procedural nature. - Present the figure of the mediator and its competences. - Know the different profiles of minors, attending to their needs and promoting the satisfaction of their rights. - Identify the different situations of risk and social difficulty faced by minors. - Analyze the risk factors of adolescents regarding violence and drugs. - Acquire the necessary knowledge for socio -educational care in the process of residential foster care of minors at social risk and helplessness.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
