MF1502_2 Course Materials, Tools and Machines for Custom and Orthopedic Footwear Manufacture

In the textile, preparation and skin field, it is necessary to know the different custom and orthopedic footwear manufacturing fields, within the Textile and Leather Preparation area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to select raw materials, manufactured products, tools and manufacturing machines of custom and orthopedic footwear.

- Differentiate types of custom footwear (fashion and show) and orthopedic - in skin or tissue -, as well as the elements that constitute it and the characteristics that guarantee their comfort, aesthetics and quality. - Distinguish machines, accessories and tools used in custom footwear manufacturing (fashion and show) and orthopedic, as well as their characteristics. - Differentiate the types of more significant skin, skins and leather and their properties in their relationship with the characteristics of custom footwear (fashion and show) and orthopedic that will be manufactured with them. - Choose secondary components, fornitures, and application auxiliaries in the manufacture of measurement footwear (fashion and show) and orthopedic, according to model and aesthetic requirements. - Identify specific elements of application in the manufacture of orthopedic footwear or prostheses and its specific characteristics. - Differentiate custom footwear manufacturing processes (fashion and show) and orthopedic.

It develops its professional activity in large, medium and small businesses, both on behalf of others and autonomously, dedicated to the production and industrialization of patterns and climbing, leather goods and garrison.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1502_2_2 Materials, tools and machines for manufacturing custom and orthopedic footwear, certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which you will opt for to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through The respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the textile world, preparation and skin, specifically in manufacture of custom and orthopedic footwear, within the professional area made in textiles and skin, and to all those people interested in acquiring necessary knowledge to select raw materials, manufactured products, tools and manufacturing machines of custom footwear and orthopedic.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
