Summary
The perfusionist nursing course offers you a specialized training that gives you the necessary skills and knowledge to develop in the field of perfusionist nursing. You will learn everything about cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy and physiology, the role and responsibilities of perfusionist nursing, the use of perfusion equipment and materials, as well as cardiovascular pathologies, extracorporeal circulation and its characteristics. Thanks to this course you can offer quality care to patients who require these specialized health techniques and professionals. In addition, you will also have a multidisciplinary teaching team and extensive experience in this field.

To prepare you
The perfusionist nursing course prepares you to develop skills and knowledge specialized in cardiovascular and pulmonary perfusion. At the end of the course, you will be trained to perform as a perfussionist nurse in multidisciplinary teams of cardiac and pulmonary surgery, applying extracorporeal circulation techniques and providing specialized care to patients.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
