UF1479 Course Mechanical Corrective Maintenance of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment

The constant use that elevators receive gives rise to continuous failures in their operation mechanisms that must be solved by trying to avoid their repetition. For this, a qualified person is necessary in this type of incidents, who knows how to diagnose the faults and put a solution using the necessary instruments or equipment.

- Mount and disassemble mechanical elements of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment, doing functional tests of the affected sets, using the required tools and equipment, in safety conditions. - Interpret plans and technical documentation of mechanical elements and systems of elevators and fixed elevation and transport equipment. - Mount tables for elevators and fixed elevation and transport equipment, based on technical documentation, acting under occupational risk prevention standards. - Perform maintenance operations of electrical installations (power, electrical-electronic automatisms) of lift and transport equipment, acting under personal safety standards.

It develops its professional activity in the areas of installation and maintenance of small, medium and large companies, public and private, both on their own and foreign, dedicated to the manufacture, installation and maintenance of fixed equipment and systems of elevation and transport of people and loads.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1479 training unit Mechanical Corrective of elevators and other fixed elevation and transport equipment certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

The course is addressed to those people who work or wish to work in the field of repair of mechanical breakdowns of elevators, who have expectations to learn issues related to their performance, operation, machinery and possible mechanical failures. It is also aimed at those who want to expand their professional knowledge and notions in some specific aspect of it or that are interested in this subject.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
