UF2742 COURSE training dogs in search and location of people through vent, in large areas

In the field of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of canine instruction in security and civil protection operations, within the professional area of security and prevention. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the training of dogs for detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, more specifically for the training of dogs in search and location of people through vent, in large areas.

With the realization of this course, search dogs, the students are intended to reach the following objectives. - Recognize the origin and evolution of human smell and its dispersion in open spaces, as well as the meteorological, aerological, orographic aspects necessary to work in mountain areas. - Stipulate when and how canine equipment for search and location of people through vent, in large areas. - Prepare a work program to train and train the dog for the search and location of people in large areas, through vent. - Apply training techniques, depending on an established work program, to teach a dog to search and locate people in large areas, denoting their presence to the guide.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and of others, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, and homes of individuals, as well as, in public administrations and/or entities, related to safety, defense and surveillance, detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, search and detection of smelly substances, in support operations to entities associated with safety and/or civil protection. Its activity, generally, performs autonomously, although it can depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.

This course Search dogs adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2742 Dog training in search and location of people through vent, in large areas. Certifying having overcome the different competition units included. And it is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding professional certificate. Through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
