Flight dispatch and surveillance course: MF2216_2 Course

In the field of transport and maintenance of vehicles, it is necessary to know the different fields of passenger assistance, crews, aircraft and merchandise in airports, within the aeronautical professional area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to dispatch and monitor flights.

- Relate and specify the aeronautical organisms and institutions that regulate airport activity, and describe the characteristics of the environment and airport infrastructure and the aircraft that use it, as well as the application regulations that affect them and the procedures to be still related to aerial safety, parasu application in assistance to the ramp aircraft, and in the dispatch and surveillance of flights. - Explain the operational security measures, safety against illegal interference, or labor and environmental prevention, to be adopted in the assistance to the ramp aircraft and in the dispatch and flight surveillance. - Apply the main techniques related to human factors, including communication methods to transmit operational and routine information, both to customers and other employees. - Identify the typologies of dangerous goods transported by air as well as the protocols for action in the attention of aircraft and in the flight office following the established procedures and acting under safety standards. - Perform LIR (Loading Instruction Report) activities, the loading and focused sheet using the necessary means and acting under safety standards. - Analyze the necessary concepts for carrying out the planning of a flight. - Establish a set of optimal flight routes in accordance with established safety and economy criteria, based on the analysis of the operational documentation, applying criteria on operational minimums, selection of alternatives and flight levels. - Complete the form of an ATC flight plan making modifications and updates based on the changes produced. - Monitor a flight checking the deviations regarding the planning planned and recalculating it so that the initially established criteria are met.

It develops its professional activity, on behalf of others, in airports of any size, of both public and private nature, in the cargo and passenger terminals, as well as in ramp, depending functional and hierarchically of a superior, and being able to be under their personal level of lower level. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF2216_2 Forming and Surveillance of flights Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals from the world of vehicle transport and maintenance, specifically in passenger assistance, crews, aircraft and merchandise in airports, within the aeronautical professional area, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge necessary to dispatch and monitor flights.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
