Today, the concern for everything that refers to dietary and human nutrition is already very high and is justified by a series of factors, among which we highlight a greater demand for quality of life in contemporary western society that translates into the search for a better diet, healthier and more balanced. On some occasions this concern causes some people to suffer some mental disorders related to food, and in many cases they have to go to professionals to solve. With this master in prevention of anorexia and bulimia. Eating disorders is intended to offer knowledge about different eating disorders and their treatment.

Objetivos

- Learn the general concepts about dietary and nutrition. - Learn the classification of food and nutrients. - Know the digestive system. - Identify nutritional and energy needs. - Learn the functions and characteristics of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins, minerals. - Know the importance of water in the human body. - Define nutritional needs in the different stages of life, physiological states, etc. - Offer priority principles to establish the basis of balanced nutrition in the different stages of life and physiological periods, as a preventive measure of associated diseases the problems of poor nutrition. - Know eating disorders or food psychopathology. - Learn the physiology and neurobiology of the regulation of eating behavior. - To be able to relate mental disorders and disturbed eating. - Learn the concept of obesity, psychosocial aspects and their treatment. - Learn the concept of anorexia nervosa, clinical aspects and their diagnosis and their treatment. - Learn the concept of bulimia nervosa, clinical aspects and their diagnosis and their treatment. - Identify other eating disorders. - Perform a clinical evaluation and diagnostic criteria of eating disorders. - Carry out the interdisciplinary treatment in each of the eating disorders - Provide the student, necessary and updated knowledge about nutrition and food, as well as useful work tools, which allow to know the nutritional requirements and recommendations in different pathophysiological situations that generate obesity, so that they can be applied in the workplace. - Provide the student with the knowledge that allows them a correct approach to the obese patient. - Update the knowledge that is related to the clinic of obese patients to help improve the identification, management and decrease of complications in these patients. - Acquire a series of knowledge, skills and skills that allow health and administrative staff to face professional tasks and possible incidents that may arise in the management of personal data of patients, so that they are protected. Develop in the students those necessary competences to exercise the functions of technician in prevention of basic occupational risk. Acquire knowledge that allows students to identify, avoid, correct and prevent specific problems that can jeopardize the health and integrity of workers. Know the laws and norms in terms of occupational risk prevention based on the Occupational Risk Prevention Law. Analyze the different action plans, prevention and first aid techniques that favor or help overcome different risk situations. Publicize the basic concepts and minimum demands of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law in the field of Health. Identify and analyze the different risks that can occur in each of the phases and activities carried out in the sanitary sector. Know the main rights and obligations that health sector workers must assume in relation to risk prevention. Analyze and study the different preventive measures, both at the individual and collective level, which must be used in risk prevention in the tasks and processes of the health sector.
