Master in Social Work

The continuous changes that our society passes are reflected and have consequences in the different groups that compose it, causing them to present various types of social demands and needs. The objective of the intervention of the social worker is to improve human well -being and help meet the basic needs of society in general, especially attending to the most disadvantaged groups. The Master in Social Intervention of INEEM provides the necessary training to social professionals moved by action and change, with the aim of helping to enhance the autonomy and social interaction of the different groups, acting as social agents to respond to new needs.

- Know the social reality and the characteristics and needs of the different social groups. - Know and develop mediation techniques and conflict resolution. - Analyze, plan and develop social intervention actions and strategies in different areas. - Learn to plan, design and evaluate social programs and projects. - Know the functions and areas of attention of sociocomunitaries. - Design and elaborate social projects distinguishing the characteristics of the different types of projects. - Promote the development of the individual and promote social integration.

The training of social work professionals is increasingly demanded by public and private institutions to respond to social needs. Social Work professionals will be able to intervene in different areas and work with different groups: family, minors, drug addiction, immigration, gender, dependence and disability.

The Master in Social Work enables and provides the student with the knowledge, abilities and skills necessary to understand the structure of the social context, as well as the behaviors and needs of various groups. It is an integral formation that includes different areas: individual-family, childhood and adolescence, drug addiction, immigration, gender, dependence and disability.

The Master in Social Work is focused on the specialized training of professionals involved in the different areas or areas of the social network, distinguishing the objectives that must be pursued as well as the attitudes and skills that will allow them to detect situations of need that require their performance and professional practice but will not train to work as a social work without the official degree.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
