MF1527-3 Course control of the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric plants

In the field of the world of energy and water it is necessary to know the different fields in the management of the operation in hydroelectric plants, within the professional area of electricity. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the plant supervision of the equipment and facilities of a hydroelectric power plant and the process parameters, the plant supervision of maneuvers, equipment and systems tests, as well as the organization and supervision of maintenance in hydroelectric plants.

- Check and supervise the operation of hydroelectric plants identifying the different systems involved, their technical characteristics, functions, process parameters without maneuvers by the staff. - Define the procedures to operate the equipment in ordinary operation of a hydroelectric power plant, considering the evolution of the main parameters. - Define the procedures to operate the equipment during the start and stop of the Turbine-Alternal Group of a hydroelectric power plant. - Define the protocols and procedures used in the performance of periodic tests and temporary disqualification of equipment in hydroelectric plants. - Perform maneuvers and correct dysfunctions in hydroelectric plants. - Detail the conditions and procedures that allow guaranteeing the required security in the operation processes and in the discharges of the hydroelectric plants. - Establish procedures for organizing and supervision of the maintenance of hydroelectric plants facilities.

It develops its professional activity, on its own or foreign account, in the areas or departments of production or maintenance of companies of any size, public and private, related to the generation, transport and distribution of electricity, or that have high voltage facilities, as well as in industrial companies that carry out assembly and maintenance of electrical substations, functionally depending on a superior and being able to have their personal level of lower level.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1527_3 control module of the operation and maintain Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of energy and water, specifically in the management of the operation in hydroelectric plants, within the professional area of electricity, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the plant supervision of the equipment and facilities of a hydroelectric plant and the process parameters, the plant supervision of the realization of maneuvers, equipment tests and systems, as well as the organization and supervision Hydroelectric plants

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
