MF1725-2 Course prevention of occupational hazards associated with the management of animals and toxic and dangerous products

In the agricultural field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the care of wild animals, zoos and aquariums, within the professional area of livestock. Thus, with this module it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the prevention of occupational hazards associated with the management of toxic and dangerous products.

- Determine risks associated with activity in the workplace, specifying preventive measures to avoid damage. - Analyze risks associated with the manipulation of products and equipment through elementary evaluations indicating the preventive measures to be adopted in each procedure. - Determine protection measures linked to the prevention of accidents derived from animal management in the job taking into account the Risk Prevention Plan. - Analyze risks and consequences in workers and environment derived from animals transmitted diseases, specifying the preventive measures that must be applied. - Apply first aid protocols in emergency situations.

It develops its professional activity in small, medium and large companies, public or private and NGOs (non -governmental organizations), which are in care wild animals, developing their professional activity on their own, in zoological parks, recovery and rescue centers of fauna, aquariums and other zoological nuclei, depending on the upper responsible.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1725_2 training module prevention of occupational hazards associated with toxic and dangerous products, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via why it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism. of the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of agrarian, specifically in the care of wild animals, zoos and aquariums, within the professional area of livestock, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the prevention of occupational hazards associated with the management of animals and toxic and dangerous products.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
