The main objectives of the Pack of Courses for Special Education Teachers are, among others, the following: - Know the evolution of special education throughout history. - Know how special education is functionally organized. - Learn the different modalities of intervention in the early care of students with specific needs. - Intervene psychoeducatively with special education students. - Know the different tools that can be used for intervention in special education. - Know the scope, the target population and the main theoretical models in early care. - Learn the basic patterns of diagnosis and intervention in children with evolutionary disorders from a broad and multidisciplinary perspective. - Detail the early signs of the various disorders and difficulties in the development to make possible early detection and more effective intervention. - Define the concept of disability and students with specific educational support needs (NEAE). - Describe the groups of students who have specific educational support needs: special educational needs, high capacities and late integration in the educational system. - Develop the principles and characteristics of attention to diversity in the educational system. - Know the process of detecting educational needs in students. - Plan the psychopedagogical intervention. - Describe the tools and coordination of the teaching team in the psychopedagogical intervention.
