UF0131 Course communication techniques with dependent people in institutions

Taking into account the social and well -being modifications that today's society has experienced, it becomes vital importance to attend to those dependent people in the socio -health field in the institution where their performance takes place, applying the strategies designed by the competent interdisciplinary team and the procedures to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment. Thus, the present course of communication techniques with dependent people in institutions aims to contribute the necessary knowledge to develop psychosocial care interventions aimed at dependent people in the institutional field.

- Determine and select, in the context of attention to dependent people, communicative strategies to favor the social relationship of users with special communication difficulties, managing the available resources and alternative systems that proceed.

It is located in the public or private sphere, in centers or equipment that provide socio -health care services: residential centers, day centers.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0131 Training Unit Communication techniques with dependent people in institutions certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course of communication techniques with dependent people in institutions is aimed at all those who want to develop their professional activity in the social services provision sector to people in partial, temporary or permanent permanence regime in social institutions, as well as any person, worker or student, who wishes to join the work world with total guarantee.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
