Summary

In the field of energy and water it is necessary to know the different fields of operation management in thermoelectric plants within the professional area of electric power thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the maneuvers and checks corresponding to common abnormalities of operation of a thermoelectric plant.

Goals

- Analyze the possible abnormal situations of operation in thermoelectric plants, defining those equipment and operating parameters that must be monitored priority and the proper actions for each situation. - Diagnose dysfunctions in assumptions or practical cases in a simulation system, by analyzing the operating parameters - Act according to established protocols, in an assumption or practical case based on the simulation of breakage of pressure parts, fire shooting, zero voltage, polluting emission, fire or other unforeseen or emergency situations.

Professional opportunities

It develops its professional activity in the area or department of production of companies dedicated to the thermoelectric generation through thermal power plants of coal, gas, diesel, biomass and other fuels, including facilities of thermosolar power generation and cogeneration.

To prepare you

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF0559 maneuvers and checks corresponding to common anomalies of operation of a thermoelectric plant, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding certificate of professional. Through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
