Summary
This course in nutrition and dietary in the Oncological Patient provides the required knowledge to develop professionally in the field of nutrition in oncology, an area of great importance, since according to a recent report that the WHO published on cancer, an uncontrollable expansion of this disease worldwide is expected, so in about 20 years there will be 60% more affected people. For this reason it is especially important to be able to offer them an adequate nutritional diagnosis and a dietary monitoring throughout the treatment. The course deepens the most important aspects that link nutrition and oncology and enables you to assess the nutritional status of an oncological patient and establish guidelines.

With this course in nutrition and dietary in the cancer patient, it prepares you to be able to carry out a complete nutritional validation, addressing the serious problem of malnutrition, thus adapting dietary recommendations in the different stages of the disease in cancer patients, so that they can better tolerate treatment, obtain greater quality of life and a favorable nutritional status.

This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in human and dietary nutrition according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the management of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
