- Carry out the tasks of receiving and dividing piglets and fattening piglets on the farm according to the established protocol. - Verify the state of general well-being of the animals by controlling the environmental parameters of the farm and their feeding. - Fatten the cattle following the relevant dietary guidelines and growth controls to achieve an optimal finish in the quality of the carcass. - Specify the regulations in force at each of the European, national, regional and local levels on feeding for fattening in intensive pig farms. - Detect possible alterations in individual or general health (of the farm), by observing signs, symptoms and pre-established parameters and applying the curative treatments prescribed by the doctor. - Describe sample collection methods to help diagnose diseases. - Carry out the actions related to the farm's preventive health program with the necessary diligence and appropriate means. - Control the health actions carried out on the animals and the correct state of storage and conservation of medicines through registration systems. - Properly interpret medication prescriptions for their correct use and preserve them according to current regulations. - Carry out preparation, cleaning, disinfection, disinfestation, deratization and conditioning operations of livestock facilities programmed according to the needs and correct elimination of waste and use of by-products. - Carry out first-level assembly and maintenance operations (of use) of livestock facilities with adequate security. - Regulate and operate machinery following occupational risk prevention standards to obtain reasonable performance. - Carry out maintenance operations, basic repairs and simple adaptations to machinery and equipment, using materials and tools, with the required skill and in a clean and safe manner. - Apply occupational risk prevention measures in the exploitation facilities and in the use of machinery and equipment, adapting them to work situations and preserving the environment.
