Summary
In the digital age, data protection has become a crucial issue in all sectors, including the health field. Medical information is highly confidential and delicate, so it is essential to know and understand the laws and regulations that protect that data. In Spain, companies that deal with health data are subject to personal data protection legislation, that is, the Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD) and the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) of the European Union.
