There is no doubt that good food guidelines are essential to maintain health, especially that of the little ones in full growth and development process. The school and family are the most conducive environments for the acquisition of healthy habits since the first years of life, therefore, teachers should know how to design and develop didactic actions of nutritional education for the promotion of health and well -being.

- Perform a theoretical approach to the basic concepts related to dietary and nutrition during childhood. - Know the specific nutritional needs of the person during the different moments that constitute children, that is, to know what kind of needs are presented during breastfeeding, the first year of life, childhood and adolescence. - Recognize the importance of a balanced diet during the first years of life and its benefits in later stages. - Obtain the necessary knowledge to elaborate a balanced and concrete diet for each of the stages of childhood.

Specialized nutrition centers, dietary consultations, nutrition franchises, diets elaboration equipment in hospitals, nurseries, school canteens and primary and primary education schools held with public or private funds.

This course is aimed at all those teachers of early childhood education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. Education professionals interested in quality training that allows them to deal with the changing reality of the classrooms and the new competences that are required for the exercise of their profession.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
