Telecare assistant course (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

Thanks to this telecare assistant you can know firsthand the ins and outs of the different field management fields, within the professional area of social care. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to receive, issue and manage calls to provide the telecare service, managing telematic tools, telephone care techniques and psychosocial and teamwork skills, responding to the needs and demands of users and mobilizing the necessary resources in their case, guaranteeing at all times the quality of the service, the personalized treatment and the confidentiality of the information.

- Attend and manage the incoming calls of the telecare service. - Issue and manage the outgoing calls of the telecare service. - Apply administrative and documentary management techniques establishing agendas programming for monitoring. - Manage the tools, techniques and skills to provide the telecare service.

The professional outputs of this telecare assistant are covered in the public and private sphere in the social and socio -health services sector that has an care center for the provision of telecare services. Among the most relevant occupations and jobs we can highlight: Teleoperador of Telecare.

With this telecare assistant, it is intended to provide the corresponding technical and theoretical training in the field of telecare, bringing students a solid base, built from the principles that govern this emerging discipline. At the end, students will be able to be part of the telecare service, developing both administrative and organizational skills and psychosocial skills.

This course is especially aimed at health professionals, although it is a degree within the teachings of the university that does not enable for professional practice, so according to article 37.7 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university teachings and the quality assurance procedure for the degrees encompassed within the own teachings that do not require a previous degree. Access to them, the purpose of them is the extension and update of knowledge, competences and training or professional skills that contribute to a better labor insertion of citizens and citizens without university degrees, so it will be open to every person without access university degrees of access health that has an interest in carrying it out.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
