Child abuse intervention course: detection and intervention in child abuse (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

Minors are, on many occasions, victims of more serious and violent crimes than adults. They are infringed greater physical and psychic damage that can lead to life consequences. That is why a preferential action by public administrations and the general population is required to end this scourge. With the course in detection and intervention in child abuse you can know in depth the types of abuse and the consequences it causes in the minor victims of this violence. You will learn the different strategies and criteria of action to take into account for your intervention and prevention from the social and integrative point of view of the performance.

By performing the course in detection and intervention in child abuse you can integrate into multidisciplinary teams that work in the care of minor victims of abuse, designing intervention strategies that seek to improve the quality of life of minors and correct those situations of vulnerability in which they are found.

With the course in detection and intervention in child abuse you will acquire all the knowledge, skills and skills necessary to specialize in childhood violence. You can know in depth the problem, the measures that have been designed to intervene on it and to design strategies that seek to alleviate the consequences that occur in minors affected by this scourge.

The course in detection and intervention in child abuse is directed to all those social professionals who wish to expand their skills knowing in detail what types of abuse can occur, its consequences and how it is intervened from the sociocomunity sphere in order to eliminate these situations of vulnerability.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
