Master of Permanent Training in Medical-Surgical Emergencies + 60 ECTS credits

The Master in Medical-Surgical Emergencies is a complete study program that covers various modules to train highly trained professionals in the management of medical and surgical emergencies. It deepens respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological and traumatological emergencies, addressing from cardiorespiratory arrest to cranioecephalic traumas. Digestive, genitourinary, pediatric and geriatric emergencies are treated in subsequent modules, considering specific pathologies in each group of patients. An additional module on "other emergencies" covers dermatological, endocrine, toxicological, ophthalmological, psychiatric, obstetric and gynecological issues, providing an integral vision of rare emergency situations.

The Master in Medical-Surgical Emergencies offers various professional exits, such as a doctor or emergency nurse in hospitals or primary care, a rescue specialist in prehospital services, emergency services coordinator, professional at UCI, specialist in pediatric or geriatric emergencies and professional in humanitarian organizations.

The Master in Medical-Surgical Emergencies prepares medical professionals and related areas to face and address situations of medical and surgical emergencies effectively. Participants acquire skills to quickly diagnose and evaluate critical patients, apply emergency techniques and procedures, and make decisions under pressure and quickly and effectively.

This program is exclusively aimed at students or university graduates who want to expand and update their knowledge, skills and training or professional skills.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
