Today, in any interaction between people, it is inevitable that all kinds of conflicts arise, which can become if they do not remedy a source of problems, expenses and losses of different nature, not just economic. In the health field, it is convenient to study the generation of these conflicts between health personnel and users. Through the different conflict resolution techniques as well as mediation, it is possible to achieve a solution to the conflict safely, in reduced time and cost, and that allows to take into account additional aspects and interests of the parties. Through this sanitary mediation course, knowledge, techniques, adequate skills for communication in health contexts are offered, in order to improve the quality of clinical practice, necessary to act in an efficient, clear and concise way in the treatment of conflicts arising between patients and health professionals.

Among the objectives of this course in sanitary mediation, we highlight: - Know the foundations of mediation as a method of management and dispute solution. - Know the normative framework regarding mediation. - Acquire knowledge about the mediator functions, as well as the processes, clauses and mediation agreements. - Understand mediation in civil and commercial matters, knowing their procedures, execution systems as well as the different frameworks of mediation in civil and commercial matters. - Know the basic concepts of law and health and its connection. - Learn all the details about the medical - patient relationship, and the duties and rights of the patient and health personnel. - Analyze the different positions of ethics in health and its connection with the law. - Discover the scope of responsibility in health practice in the civil and criminal field. - Study the patrimonial responsibility of the public administration in the provision of the public health service. - Visualize mediation as an alternative method of conflict resolution in the health field. - Evaluate the importance of data protection in the provision of health service. - Determine the legal regime of medicines and health products and the function of the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products. - Acquire adequate social skills for staff in different health contexts. - Deepen the appropriate communication characteristics to face conflicting situations in sanitary contexts. - Know communicative strategies to face emergency situations and catastrophes. - Acquire the necessary knowledge regarding the origin of conflicts in the health field. - Develop the necessary strategies for conflict resolution in the health field. - Use negotiation in conflict resolution.

This Sanitary Mediation course puts at your disposal the necessary knowledge related to the origin of conflicts in health environments, as well as the necessary strategies for their resolution. To do this, you will start from the knowledge of civil mediation and health law.

This Sanitary Mediation course is addressed to professionals in the area of Health who wishes to update and expand your knowledge about conflict and communication resolution strategies in sanitary contexts. Similarly, it addresses all those mediation professionals who have interest in specializing in this amit.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
