Postgraduate in pedagogy and clinical psychopedagogy (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Thanks to education, people can assimilate and learn all the necessary knowledge, the rules of behavior, the ways of being and the way of seeing the world of previous generations, being able to create new visions. For everything that this field implies both pedagogy (the art of teaching) and psychopedagogy (which is responsible for the personalization of educational processes). This course will contribute the necessary knowledge to act properly in this context of action.

- Explain the concepts of pedagogy and clinical psychopedagogy - introduce the importance of individual differences in education - Know the evolutionary development of children in the school period - introduce the main notions of how the psycho -pedagogical evaluation should be carried out - Know how to prepare a psychopedagogical report - Learn to carry out a psycho -pedagogical intervention - Know the evolution of special education in the last decades. - Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged throughout the time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the identification and assessment process of educational needs. - To guide both students, family and other professionals in the educational process. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs.

The course prepares you to know the basic foundations of pedagogy and clinical psychopedagogy and, from here, to be able to develop the appropriate evaluation and a treatment that is in line with the students' needs to student according to the problem it presents. In short, the course provides the necessary knowledge to properly develop the tasks required by clinical psychopedagogy. In addition, this course offers specialized training in the Sciences of Education area, within the field of therapeutic pedagogy. In addition to helping and guiding the therapeutic pedagogy specialist to intervene with students with specific educational support needs.

This course is aimed at all the people who work in the fields of pedagogy and psychopedagogy (both educational and clinical) and who want to expand their knowledge about psychopedagogical evaluation, the intervention that is carried out, etc. The course is also focused for people who are interested in the subject, regardless of whether they work in this context or not.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
