Tool and resources course for reading promotion

In a digital world where attention is fragmented, promoting pleasure for reading is essential. Reading promotion not only enriches knowledge, but also enhances critical and creative skills. This course responds to the need to train professionals trained to design effective strategies that attract various audiences towards the book, adapting to new environments and technologies.

- Promote interest in reading through adequate animation and promotion techniques. - Develop skills to select appropriate bibliography according to different readers profiles. - Design and plan activities that stimulate the pleasure of reading in various contexts. - Implement reading animation sessions that generate interaction and enjoyment. - Evaluate the impact of reading promotion activities in the community and on the personal development of the participants.

Participants can perform as reading promoters in libraries, educational institutions, and cultural programs. They will also be able to work as consultants in design of reading promotion programs or in the creation of projects that integrate reading in communities.

Students will develop competences in the selection of bibliographic materials, design of reading animation activities and conduction of interactive sessions. They will learn to create settings conducive to the enjoyment of reading, adapting strategies to different audiences and contexts.

This course is aimed at educators, librarians, cultural mediators, and professionals of the literary field that wish to acquire tools to promote reading in their communities and interest groups.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
