Summary
The constant search for the health and well -being of the population, as well as preventing chronic diseases with increasing incidence has endowed food and the use of medicinal plants has a great relevance due to the consumption of natural products. Today, consumers seek healthier and natural alternatives, which promotes the demand for plants based on plants that minimize the side effects produced by drugs. This course in herbodietics offers training in knowledge of the use of medicinal plants and its application in health improvement. Students will learn about phytotherapy, plants components, their preparation for consumption and a detailed study of food and food supplements.

To prepare you
This course in herbodietics prepares you to acquire a solid theoretical and practical basis in herbodietics through the study of phytotherapy. You will learn to identify medicinal plants and their therapeutic uses, to elaborate natural products and to guide the population according to the needs of each person. In addition, you will know functional foods and how to integrate food supplements safely.

This course in herbodietics is aimed at health professionals, natural therapists, herbal and naturopathic staff, as well as people interested in acquiring knowledge in the use of medicinal plants and food supplements to improve health and well -being naturally.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
