MF1454-3 course participation and creation of networks with a gender perspective

In the field of sociocultural and community services, it is necessary to know the different fields of promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to favor the participation of women and the creation of stable networks that, from the gender perspective, promote the change of attitudes in society and the empowerment of women.

The objectives to be achieved with the realization of this social media course with a gender perspective are the following: - Identify, in collaboration with the intervention team, the level of participation of the recipient population in the different areas (economic, political, social, associative and leisure, among others), disaggregating the data by sex, to facilitate the detection of the gender gap. - Promote processes of creation and consolidation of collaboration structures - associations, networks, support groups and other organizational models - that allow the participation of women in the public sphere to favor their empowerment and creation of contacts with the agents of the intervention environment. - Act in group processes that occur in existing organizations in the intervention environment incorporating the gender perspective, according to the action protocol, to guarantee the adjustment to the characteristics of the people participating in the group. - Accompany and advise women to facilitate their participation in existing structures, locating them in the intervention environment, and considering concordance with their demands. - Promote, within the framework of the intervention project, the participation of women in the areas of decision -making of institutions, organizations and entities, public and private, of their environment, favoring the creation of networks, to enhance empowerment processes. - Accompany and advise women, following the plans and strategies of action planned in the intervention team, about personal positions that allow decision making to promote individual empowerment processes, and those people who demand it to enhance social change and roles in society.

It works on the creation of content for institutions, associations or companies that have gender perspectives. You can focus your activity on social networks on events, processes and notic of these areas. Develop your work activity in both private companies and in public agencies.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1454_3 training module. And it is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities. As well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This social media course with a gender perspective is aimed at the professionals of the world of sociocultural services and the community. More specifically in the promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education. And in general, it addresses all those interested in favoring the participation of women and the creation of stable networks that, from the gender perspective, promote the change of attitudes in society and the empowerment of women.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
