Seed Operations Management Course: MF1494_3 Management of seed production operations

In the field of Agrarian, it is necessary to know the different fields of the management of the production of seeds and plants in nurseries, within the professional area of Agriculture. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the management of seed production operations.

- Organize and supervise the collection of fruits and seeds in natural populations and in cultivation, both in height and in the soil, following the programming and security criteria. - Establish an plan for transporting fruits and seeds, following the established quality and safety criteria. - Apply the cleaning and selection guidelines of fruits and seeds, as well as their conditioning prior to storage, following the security criteria and current regulations. - Put into operation a program of the storage and manipulation of seed lots in the different stores and refrigeration cameras, to achieve optimal conservation until its commercialization, following quality and safety criteria. -Coordinate the necessary human resources in the production of seeds, following optimization criteria based on the established objectives and activities.

It develops its professional activity in large, medium and small companies, public and private, both on their own and of others, dedicated to the production of seeds and plants in the nursery according to the established planning, following, where appropriate, instructions, of the person responsible for the production, and being able to be in its personal level of lower level.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1494_3 Training Module Management of seed production operations, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of Agrarian, specifically in management of seeds and plants in nurseries, within the professional area of agriculture and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the management of seed production operations.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
