Summary
While today they are absolutely unacceptable, abusive practices against children and the violation of their rights have been a constant throughout history and even today, despite remaining, in many cases, hidden in the privacy of the family breast. Given this reality, the school becomes the ideal scenario for the detection of these situations. The teacher, by maintaining a direct and constant treatment with the students, is made the main agent of prevention of child abuse and intervention in the educational field. With this course we intend that the educational community is prepared to detect the signs of child abuse and abandonment and to adopt the most appropriate action guidelines in each case.

Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed at all those teachers of early childhood education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. Education professionals interested in quality training that allows them to deal with the changing reality of the classrooms and the new competences that are required for the exercise of their profession.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.

University degree in socio -educational intervention in situations of child abuse with 5 ECTS university credits. Scoring course as merits for access oppositions to the teaching public function in all CC. AA., According to R.D. 276/2007 of February 23 (BOE 2/3/2007). This is carried out within the permanent training plan of the Antonio de Nebrija University
