Summary

Swimming is one of the "queen" sports, since most people without age limit can be practiced and contributes innumerable benefits for the body. To the advantages of practicing physical activity, we must add those of practicing it in the aquatic environment, in which because the severity is different, the activities have a low impact on the different parts of our body, reducing the tension in the bones and joints to the maximum. This course offers the necessary training to be able to exercise as a swimming monitor. In addition, we must know that therapeutic swimming is understood as those health programs that are directed, on the one hand to the compensation of deviations from the spine, and on the other hand, to the compensation of diseases and injuries that may appear in the adult stage, using described aquatic displacements in the framework of educational swimming. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

Goals

- Enter the history of swimming. - Know the development and different methodologies that can be used in swimming. - Learn the different approaches and applications of aquatic activities. - Know and put into practice some pedagogical considerations for swimming monitors. - Know the different injuries and be able to rehabilitate them through swimming. - Create educational aquatic activities. - Know the different basic techniques and styles most used in swimming. - Acquire knowledge regarding first aid and aquatic rescue.

Who is it addressed to?

This course is aimed at swimming monitors, sports coaches, physiotherapists and professionals from the field of health interested in improving their knowledge about the therapeutic swimming and swimming techniques. With a agenda that covers from anatomy and physiology to rescue methods and style techniques, it is ideal for those who seek integral and certified formation in these areas.

Official Character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.

Certification

Double degree: - Permanent Training Course Title in Swimming Monitor issued by the Miguel de Cervantes European University accredited with 8 university credits - Titulation of therapeutic swimming monitor issued by Edusport, center specialized in sports training and accredited by the Spanish Fitness Federation (FEF) to which it will be able to access as federated receiving the corresponding professional card in therapeutic swim After the training, the student will become part of the Spanish Registry of Exercise Professionals (ESREPS) that collects the exercise professionals, establishing a quality standard and a professional registration to guarantee a safe and effective advice from customers users of fitness facilities for qualified professionals. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.
