UF1868 course and supervision of telephone switching equipment

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different fields of the operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional area of communications. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the operation and supervision of telephone switching equipment and services to install, configure functional parameters and apply the maintenance processes and operational tests of communications equipment, making the connections between the communications lines and the systems that manage information traffic, to verify the performance and quality parameters of communications services, following specified procedure.

- Solve the incidents detected in telephone services following specific specifications. - Describe the incidents that occur in telephone systems taking into account the services they offer. - Classify the tools for detection and notification of incidents and monitoring of telephone services, depending on their scope of supervision, services and parameters observed. -Describe the techniques used to isolate and diagnose the possible causes that cause incidents in telephone services according to the type of the same. - Explain the systematic procedures for the resolution of incidents depending on the type of incidence and the service it affects. - Solve simulated breakdowns in telephone systems, following specific specifications.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in public or private companies or entities of any size, which have connection to public networks for transport and transmission of data, in the Network and Communications Department.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1868 training unit: operation and supervision of telephone switching equipment. Certifying having exceeded the different units of competence included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023 It develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of computer science and communications, specifically in operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional communications area, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the operation and supervision of telephone switching equipment and services.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
