Summary
This course in blood transfusion nursing is a specialized training that will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out the administration of blood transfusions, as well as to manage emergency situations and complications related to this procedure. You will deepen transfusions management techniques, including risk identification and control, patient monitoring during procedure, prevention and management of potential complications, such as transfusion reactions or infections transmitted by blood. Emphasis is placed on the proper management of the equipment and materials used in transfusions, as well as in security and traceability.

To prepare you
This course in blood transfusion nursing will prepare you to play a fundamental role in the safe administration of blood transfusions. It will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to guarantee the compatibility and security of the process, as well as to identify and manage possible complications. In addition, it will train you to provide adequate emotional support to patients and their families.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
