Summary
Current knowledge about human genome has been key to understanding the characteristics and heritability of various genetic diseases. Through the new techniques used in molecular biology it is possible to obtain a large amount of information from a single sample derived from a patient. Through the course in clinical genetics you will learn the main techniques used in molecular biology and applied to the genetic analysis of different types of samples obtained from patients. In the same way you will learn issues related to gene therapy. We have a qualified multidisciplinary teaching team that will not hesitate to advise you during your training process.

This course in clinical genetics prepares you to know the main techniques of molecular biology applied to the genetic analysis of patient -derived samples. In the same way, it will allow you to familiarize yourself with chromosomal analysis from a structural point of view, and with state -of -the -art techniques such as flow cytometry. If you have a bioscience training, this course is a perfect complement to you.
Who is it addressed to?
The course in clinical genetics is dedicated to professionals trained within the scope of biocence (biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, etc.) that intend to specialize in genetic analysis of samples derived from patients and who wish to know the main molecular techniques used within this discipline.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
