Summary

A good knowledge of respiratory urgencies, infections and their approach is essential to provide quality care to our patients. The emergency and respiratory infections course offers you an integral approach to the emergency and respiratory infections, providing useful knowledge and skills for your working life. This course is structured in different didactic units that address anatomical and physiological memories of the respiratory system, respiratory emergencies, respiratory infections and, different procedures for airway management and control are also explained. You will also have a team of specialized professionals in the field.

Goals

- Understand the anatomophysiology of the respiratory system. - Acquire knowledge about the prevention and control measures of respiratory infections. - Identify and diagnose different respiratory diseases and their clinical manifestations. - Develop skills for the management of emergency and respiratory emergency situations. - Know the basis of mechanical ventilation and different oxygen administration systems. - Analyze the characteristics of pneumonia and lung cancer. - Study the procedures for the therapeutic approach to respiratory diseases.

You can also perform in intensive care units, medical emergency services, research and teaching centers of this area.
