Summary
The concept we have of health has changed a lot over the years. We have gone from understanding health as a mere absence of illness to contemplate a much richer, broader and global vision: health is today the complete state of physical, psychological and social well -being. From this perspective, health education emerges as an area of growing interest and application. The marked objective will be to achieve this state of well -being through an active learning process to improve our control capacity on the factors that influence our health, both at the individual and collective level, through the prevention and promotion of good practices and healthy lifestyles from an early age. Areas such as food, hygiene or personal autonomy, among others, will therefore be the object of study in this course with which you can acquire the necessary capacities to design and develop educational programs for the promotion of health and prevention of diseases.

This course aims to train any professional in matters related to health education, teaching them measures and procedures to design and develop health education programs in different areas.

Health professionals, teachers, health care personnel, specialized care, nursing staff, medicine and health science students.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
