The course in pharmacotherapy provides the knowledge required to function professionally in the environment of pharmaceutical care and pharmacotherapy, an area that requires increasingly trained and specialized professionals. This course allows you to specialize in theoretical and practical aspects of the pharmacological management of diseases. In addition, some of the most frequent pathologies in our environment are studied. Isem's teaching staff, with extensive experience in very varied health fields, will offer students all the support and resources necessary to strengthen knowledge, thus facilitating the incorporation into the labor market in the field of pharmacotherapy.

Study the physiological bases of the circulatory system, the digestive system and the endocrine. Acquire knowledge about pharmacology of the most frequent diseases of these systems. Understand the foundations of dermatological, antimicotic and antiparasitic pharmacology. Know the foundations of pharmacological treatment with antibiotics and their classification. Train students professional for the application of pharmacotherapy.

Develop your professional career in the field of pharmacotherapy through advanced and specialized training that provides the basis for the pharmacological management of frequent diseases in our environment. Professional practice may be developed in pharmacies, general or specialized medical centers, hospitals or private clinics, among others.

Accrediting degree

This course in pharmacotherapy will allow you to deepen the field of pharmacotherapy, with special attention to the most frequent pathologies in our environment and their physiology. Pharmacological knowledge can be applied in pharmacy offices and in medical and hospitals, both public and private.

This course in pharmacotherapy is aimed at graduates in areas such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy or physiotherapy, as a complement to their usual clinical practice, and also students and every person with personal or professional interest in the field of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
