Epilepsy in school children (university degree + 4 ECTS credits)

Epilepsy is a disease of neurological origin with important incidence and prevalence rates in Spain, presenting its highest peaks in the child population. It causes in the person a series of symptoms worthy of study and research, which can cause changes in attention or behavior. Therefore, with our epilepsy course in school children we want to favor specialized knowledge and achieve successful training through health education, since it is one of the crucial aspects for the approach of mentioned pathology. In addition, it updates the most recent advances in this domain of neurology and is very useful for the evaluation and management of patients in daily practice.

With the Epilepsy Course in school children you will prepare to be a professional and specialist in the field of neurology, neuropsychology and health, as well as the health field related to the children's and pediatric stage, to be able to face cases of neurological disorders, in this case as the epilepsy of greater incidence in recent times. You will become an expert of this pathology.

This course is aimed exclusively at health personnel, diplomas or graduates in psychology, diplomas or graduates in pedagogy and graduates or graduates in psychopedagogy according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
