Interculturality course for teachers and professors (university degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Society is increasingly plural, diverse and rich in terms of cultural values and manifestations. The achievement of a climate of respect, coexistence and tolerance must be born from a solid education, both within the family, and in school. This purpose must be embodied, not only in regulations and laws, but must become evident in concrete pedagogical actions. This course aims to offer teachers and teachers the necessary tools to launch intercultural education activities through the various curricular areas.

- Make an approach to the basic concepts linked to interculturality. - Describe the challenges and challenges that are born from cultural diversity in the educational context and know how to face them. - Acquire basic knowledge about the legislative principles on which intercultural education is supported. - Place intercultural education within the framework of attention to diversity. - Provide orientations and know the basic guidelines necessary to work interculturality in the classroom. - Know the attitudes, values and skills that must be learned and internalize by students who help work interculturality in the classroom. - Recognize the importance and need for the intercultural training of teachers.

This course aims to offer teachers and teachers the necessary tools to launch intercultural education activities through the various curricular areas.

This course is aimed at all those teachers of early childhood education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. Education professionals interested in quality training that allows them to deal with the changing reality of the classrooms and the new competences that are required for the exercise of their profession.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
