Master Attention to the minor: European Master in Actual to the Minor: Psychosocial Intervention with 15 ECTS credits

Through this master in attention to the minor: Psychosocial Intervention Students will be qualified to work in the area of intervention with minors at risk of social exclusion, knowing the identification and intervention techniques to be able to solve these conflict situations, developing their work and carrying out a social function of help and collaboration.

- Identify the child's risk and conditions. - Know the laws regarding the legal protection, rights, attention and criminal responsibility of minors. - Use different techniques and specific strategies for treatment with minors at risk. - Differentiate risk factors and characteristic protection factors from age groups. - Know the phenomenon of drug addiction in depth, as well as the risk and protection factors that surround it, learning to neutralize some and to enhance others. - Know the different types of substances that exist. - Offer the bases of the preventive work in various ways and to carry out specific actions in this regard. - Train the student on the subject of social intervention in situations of child abuse through a theoretical part that encompasses concepts, distinctions and criteria for identifying minors. - Know the types of prevention and detection of gender violence in minors.

The present master in attention to the minor: psychosocial intervention is aimed at all those teachers of early education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the teaching field. Education professionals interested in quality training that allows them to deal with the changing reality of the classrooms and the new competences that are required for the exercise of their profession.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University and PhD master). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
