At present, it is increasingly common that there is a company animal in people's home, so a specialized figure in the nutritional needs of these animals is indispensable. With this master in animal nutrition, it is intended to train professionals who contribute to the implementation of their specialized knowledge and dietary knowledge applied to pets, so that they enjoy a standard of living that is characterized by their quality, regardless of whether they suffer from an added pathology.

- Know and acquire the basic concepts of nutrition, as well as the main needs of dogs and cats. - Knowing healthy eating, since it is accompanied by physical and psychic well -being and delays health complications of the animal. - Knowing how to balance a daily diet of each dog and each particular cat, depending on its individual characteristics and its physiological state. - To raise awareness of the important role that food plays in the prevention of various health disorders. - Acquire knowledge of dietary therapy in multiple pathologies, which constitutes a total or partial part of their treatment. - Know the work of veterinary pharmacy staff. - Acquire basic knowledge about general notions of pharmacology. - Know the officers and masterful formulas of frequent use in veterinary. - Study the main medications that are distributed in the veterinary pharmacy and their proper maintenance. - Acquire homeopathic knowledge related to the exercise of veterinary medicine. - Machine yourself with the method of elaboration of homeopathic medical history. - Learn to interrogate the client in order to obtain the maximum possible information about the patient's disease. - Review and/or update knowledge about the patient's medical examination. - Study mental and physical symptoms as part of a whole. - Diagnose and treat the patient individually, avoiding disease generalization.

Work as a specialist in canine nutrition in veterinary clinics, in establishments for the sale of foods and products for dogs or in canine nurseries.

This Master in Animal Nutrition provides the student with the necessary knowledge about dietary and veterinary nutrition so that company animals enjoy a standard of living that is characterized by their quality, regardless of whether they can suffer from some pathology. The student will be able to learn the basic knowledge of all nutrition, the main needs of dogs and cats, the way to achieve healthy eating, knowing how to balance the daily diet of each dog and cat based on their characteristics and analyze the importance of a valid dietary therapy for multiple pathologies.

This Master in Animal Nutrition is aimed at people who work in animal -specialized establishments and that their daily work requires technical knowledge in canine and feline nutrition. Also to people who want to obtain a degree or interested in knowing the basic principles of nutrition and their application to the feeding of animals, attending to the differentiated needs of healthy and sick specimens, and depending on their age, race and weight.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
