Master of Permanent Training in Management and Systems in the Minera Industry + 60 ECTS credits

The mining sector has become the engine of development both at the macroeconomic level, and on regional economies in much of the world, the economy of many countries depends significantly on its proper functioning. A distinctive characteristic of the mining sector is that the implementation of the strategies and optimization of its value chain requires the high and medium level planning for the proper management of important resources (economic, human and material) that are committed to the operations and investments of this industry. By virtue of the above, in the mining industry it is necessary to strengthen the competences in the management of the entire value chain to ensure the strengthening of social and economic development with worldwide impact.

The objective of the master will be to train professionals who are able to: - Understand the international context of the mining business, and the international mining mining and infrastructure legislation. - Establish approach and planning strategies in mining from the exploration and geological evaluation of the deposit to the design of resources and facilities - Implement tools, procedures and techniques in mining production: underground and in the open sky - Recognize the logistics aspects and the supply chain of the mining sector, including the planning, execution and control of the products in the correct quantity, quality and time, transport management, storage and distribution and distribution until the final contact and distribution clients, provision of supply and demand among others. - Establish and implement marketing strategies and channels within the world market of mining products - plan and manage the quality management system, health and safety at work, environmental protection, and sustainability and business responsibility in the mining business. - Connect and align the elements corresponding to the formulation and evaluation of a mining project with the elements corresponding to the management and control of a mining project.

The graduate of the program will be able to have knowledge and capacities to: direct the strategic, technical, operational and administrative management in the mining sector to expand their work opportunities within the technical areas of planning, design, construction and exploitation of mines and associated infrastructure. Recognize and apply the technical, environmental, legal regulatory framework around the mining practice and management of associated systems under world recognized standards. Formulate a mining investment project, taking into account both technical and economic aspects, as well as social and environmental aspects. Have methodological support for the practical application of mines management in your work environment.

The following master will prepare students to assume leadership and management roles in the mining industries, achieving the specialized preparation necessary in mining operations, hambiental regulations, security, etc. In this way, the efficiency of the activity will be improved exponentially.

Professionals in Mining Engineering, Civil, Geology, Metallurgical, Electricity, Automation, Instrumentation and Control, Mechanics, Environmental, Industrial Maintenance, Administration and Management of Mining Operations, and people interested in developing their competences in the strategic, technical, operational and administrative management in the mining sector.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
