Summary

Within the world of food industry it is necessary to know the different fields for the packaging, within the professional area of beverage. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the packaging and conditioning of the drink.

Goals

- Describe the preparation processes of the product necessary to conserve its organoleptic properties, their stability and/or sterility. - Characterize materials and containers for packaging and labeling and, relate their characteristics to their use conditions. - Identify the requirements and carry out the top -level maintenance and preparation operations of the machines and packaging equipment. - Operate with the proper skill machines, equipment and packaging lines used in the beverage industry and evaluate the compliance of packaged products and lots. - Analyze the risk factors and situations for safety and prevention and protection measures applicable in packaging.

Professional exits

It exercises its activity in the malt industry and in the elaboration and packaging of beer. It is generally large and medium beer groups. This technician is integrated into a work team with other people in the same category or lower and depends on an intermediate command.
