MF1138_3 course: MF1138_3 course Determination of orthopedic and/or therapy herrados in horses

In the agrarian field, it is necessary to know the different fields of Herrado de Equinos, within the professional agrarian area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for determining orthopedic and/or therapy herrades in horses.

Describe the general anatomy of the horses and explain the functioning of the different systems and devices that regulate the lives of these animals. Describe how to identify and locate a limp in the horses and the different alterations and pathologies of the extremities of the horses. Explain the different skeletal alterations that young horses and their corrections can present through orthopedic or corrective blacksmiths. Define the different types of orthopedic herrados and how to apply them in horses with certain problems of applomos and/or locomotion. Explain how to perform the supervision and programming of a special herrado. In a practical case, to review the execution of a special heard and the final result of the same, valuing the possibility of complementing it. Explain the different pathologies of the hull of the horses and the type of black that must be applied in each case. Define the different types of therapeutic blacksmiths and their indication for the treatment of the different pathologies that may appear in the members and/or helmets of the horses, choosing the most appropriate in a practical assumption.

It develops its professional activity in private companies, both on their own and of others, or public, of any size, related to the breeding, training, doming, riding and exhibition of horses.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1137_2_2 -approved of the helmet, forged, adaptation and placement of horseshoes and other Herrado de Equinos materials, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding Certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
