MF1756_3 course for defense and surveillance dogs

In the field of safety and environment it is necessary to know different fields of canine instruction in security and civil protection operations, within the professional area of security and prevention. Thus, with the realization of this course, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to carry out the training of dogs in defense and surveillance operations.

- Analyze the dog's behavior and characteristics. - Modify the behavior of the dog. - Apply the security criteria for third parties and self -protection during the management and training of dogs. - Develop the aptitudes and attitudes of the figures and the dog. - Build and project the hunting instinct to its fair measure. - Build and project the defense instinct. - Build and project the defensive skills of the dog. - Use a direct confrontation, without hesitation by the dog towards the figurant. - Use a control of the dog after the loose exercise at the same time that it performs a surveillance of the figurant in lying position without any clamping during the cacheo and driving operations. - Build and project the defensive skills of the dog in order to protect your guide or driver without any clamping. - Prove that after several threats from the figures the dog begins a confrontation. - Build and project the intensity of the search in open spaces with and without previous threats.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and of others, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, and homes of individuals, as well as, in public administrations and/or entities, related to safety, defense and surveillance, detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, search and detection of smelly substances, in support operations to entities associated with safety and/or civil protection. Its activity, generally, performs autonomously, although it can depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1756_3 training module dogs for defense and surveillance, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, specifically in canine instruction in Civil Security and Protection operations, within the professional area Security and Prevention, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the training of dogs for defense and surveillance.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
