MF1965-2 Course Forest Fire Extinction

In the field of the world of safety and environment it is necessary to know the different fields of the surveillance and extinction operations of forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment within the professional area of safety and prevention. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the extinction of forest fires.

- Apply recognition and evaluation techniques prior to the performance for the control of conatos in initial attack. -Apply acting techniques for the control of conatos in initial attack. - Drive with skill different types of manual and mechanical tools, used in the control and extinction of the forest fire in expanded attack and in extreme behavior fires. - Operate with water driving equipment and hose lines in extinction and/or control in expanded attack and forest fires of extreme behavior. - Perform interventions with heavy machinery support, for extinction and/or fire control in expanded attack and extreme behavior fires in the forest environment. - Describe and prepare personal and communication protective teams in the extinction of forest fires. - Perform interventions to support the air media, for the extinction and/or control of the fire in the forest environment. - Apply intervention procedures using technical fire, for the extinction and/or fire control in the forest environment.

It develops its professional activity as a worker dependent on public administrations, as well as in public and private companies dedicated to agroforestry and environmental work, working in a coordinated manner with the members that are part of the patrol and under the orders of a responsible.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1965_2 training module Extinction of forest fires, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, specifically in surveillance and extinction operations of forest fires and contingency support in the natural and rural environment within the professional area of safety and prevention, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the extinction of forest fires.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
