Summary
Palliative care is relief care to a patient who has a serious or deadly disease, such as cancer, AIDS or any chronic disease whose outcome is the death of the patient. With this course, knowledge related to specific palliative care is provided in cancer patients, in order to maintain the best quality of life of patients in terminal phases.

This course prepares students to work with terminal patients, thus seeking to improve their quality of life both in the hospital and at home. This is intended to control the symptoms produced by cancer and control pain, main objectives of palliative treatments.
Who is it addressed to?
This course goes to those who work or wish to work in the field of patient's palliative care. It is also aimed at all those health professionals interested in expanding knowledge, as well as all those non -professionals who, for different reasons, can be interested in this subject.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
