Specialist course in adolescence eating disorders

Adolescence is one of the stages in which people are subject to strong external pressure that squeezes them and drags to develop behaviors that can cause little beneficial consequences. One of the great threats in adolescence is related to eating habits, linked to the image that is projected from abroad on the new canons of beauty and erroneous stereotypes of healthy life. Teenagers are vulnerable people to develop some type of eating disorder, something increasingly common, especially in girls. With the realization of this course, the necessary knowledge in regards to eating disorders themselves will be provided, their prevention and treatment, which will allow us to intervene in them in a complete and effective way.

- Highlight the importance of in adolescents the development of adequate nutritional education. - Know and analyze the main eating disorders. - Justify the importance of prevention of any type of problem that affects the adolescent. - Know the main levels of prevention and the actions that are executed of each of them. - Know the diagnostic criteria of the TCA, as well as their main detection tools and analyze the comorbidity of the TCA. - Learn what are the main intervention strategies with adolescents who present eating disorders. - Establish the basis of a balanced diet and learn the basic concepts that allow to follow healthy eating habits.

With this course a technical and theoretical training is provided in terms of eating disorders framed in adolescence. The way to evaluate these disorders, as well as the intervention strategies against them will be shown.

This course is aimed at all those who, either for personal interest or for their professional development, intend to acquire knowledge related to eating disorders developed in adolescence, their evaluation and intervention.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
