Summary
Due to the quality of life, we live more and more time, which makes people belonging to the elderly require more attention and for a longer time. This makes all professionals who attend them, and especially geriatrics and gerontology professionals must maintain their knowledge as up -to -date as possible to guarantee the quality of life of our elders.

To prepare you
The course prepares the student to intervene correctly, from the update of the knowledge, before patients who have stroke or who require continuous care or home care. It also contributes especially to the treatment of the first phases of the disease and the prevention and limitation of complications that could arise.
Who is it addressed to?
The course is addressed to doctors specialists in geriatrics and gerontology who want to update knowledge in everything related to healthy aging or for those professionals who are related to the elderly. It is also aimed at all those health professionals interested in expanding knowledge. This course is also aimed at all non -professionals who, for different reasons, can be interested in the health of the elderly for their daily life or particular activity.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
