This course of theoretical and methodological foundations in equestrian therapies offers you a specialized training in the field. Currently, there is a certainty that companion animals provide multiple benefits to caregivers, becoming co -therapists in preventive therapy of the treatment of different diseases. This theoretical and methodological foundations course in equestrian therapies provides students with the basic knowledge used in the participation of animals in therapeutic interventions.

Goals

- Study the basic aspects of equestrian therapies. - Know the characteristics of social groups and pathologies that are found more frequently in equestrian therapies - Highlight the importance of animal welfare through knowledge of current legislation. - Know the types of therapy that are usually used more regularly such as animal -assisted therapy.
